Barkha is a Delhi-based mixed-media and visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of identity, memory, belonging, and space. Drawing from an early exposure to architecture and spatial thinking, her work engages with the relationship between the self and its surroundings, examining physical and perceived spaces, the body as a site of experience, and the ways memory shapes our understanding of place. Working across drawing, painting, printmaking, and textiles, her practice brings together organic forms, geometric interventions, and textured surfaces to create layered visual narratives rooted in personal and collective memory.
Currently at Hampi art labs, she was selected for the Hampi Art Labs Residency, July–September 2026 batch, where she further explored material, landscape, memory, and the relationship between natural and built environments.Her work has been exhibited at Tate Modern, London; Apparao Galleries with The Art Platform; Samukha Gallery, Bangalore; Kochi-Muziris Biennale Student Biennale; Art Alive, New Delhi; and Pulp Society, New Delhi, among others. In 2026,Barkha studied at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore, and Malmö University, Sweden.
