Geetanjali Bayan (Assam) – Originally from Guwahati (BFA Sculpture) and an MFA graduate of Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai. In 2025 she was selected for the Space Studio Baroda residency. Geetanjali works in thread and rope (knitting, stitching), weaving together personal and cultural narratives. Inspired by her mother’s Assamese knitting, her sculptural installations layer knotted textiles into the gallery. Though new to Vadodara, her residency here connects Assam’s craft traditions with Baroda’s spirit of material innovation.
